Under 12's - The 'RugRats'
Formed in season 2005/6 the RugRats were coached and managed by ex 1st XV coach Steve Murphy. At the begining numbers were sparse, but as Steve persisted with the training, player numbers gradually increased. This led to several competitive games in season 2006/7.
Due to other commitments Steve stepped down as coach, after producing a very successful start to this young side. Big Allen Evans took over and with a several new players, looks forward to building on this success.
The RugRats are a fully committed side, and already have a great following of spectators (thanks mums and dads!). They are improving their skills every week and are happy to display this on match days. With a great Canvey spirit and determination we look forward to these RugRats becoming the next Canvey stars.
With this said, we are always happy to welcome new players. Training is held at the club on Sundays at 10am prompt, unless the team have a game. For further details contact info@cirufc.co.uk or just turn up !
