1st June 2007 - Quiz Night
Hows your general knowledge ? There is a quiz night being organised by Jamie Breading at the club for 7:30pm. Entry is £2 per person, teams of 6 - 8. Just turn up at the door or contact Jamie (07763 052 663) for more details. Remember the Quizmasters decision is final. Fines will be set for any of you that argue with him!
23rd June 2007 - Annual General Meeting
It's time for the AGM again and chance for you to have a say in the running of the club. This is a very important event in the clubs calendar so please attend. Starting at 1:45pm prompt (in other words get there earlier!) the AGM will be followed by volleyball and a BBQ. Any items for discussion to be submitted to the Club Secretary 2 weeks prior to the AGM.
28th July 2007 - It's a Knockout 2007
One for all the ages, there will be a kids competition and adults competition so please keep checking back for details and keep this date in your diary open!!!

19th May 2007 - Annual Rugby Presentation, Dinner and Dance
A fantastic night with everyone making an effort. The fellas looked dapper and the ladies looked lovely. It was great to have distinguished guests at the head table and Jeff Probyn was brilliant, what a speech and what a legend.
Easter Tour 2007 - Torquay
Said to be one of the best so far, Torquay 2007 saw a record number of tour virgins ! However, looking like this we are sure young Ben wont be a virgin much longer !!!!!
24th February 2007 - Race Night
Many thanx to all those that attended the night it seemed to be an enjoyable night and will look forward to seeing some new faces at the next one!
31st December 2006 - New Years Eve Fancy Dress Party
A cracking turn out for new years once again, with a big well done to Danny Horton who won first prize in the fancy dress competition as Beetlejuice, (pics of the night to follow). Well done to everyone who helped out. As usual its those same old people helping out and setting up. You all know who you are, so give yourselves a pat on the back.
Also well done to the whole of the club for everybodys efforts on the christmas raffle, a lucky James Deller coming out with the first prize of £250. Well done people bring on 2007!!! A Happy New Year to all!
23rd December 2006 - Grown Ups Christmas Party
Danny Horton organised a Christmas party for all the grownups (and the not so grown ups) at the club.
10th December 2006 - Childrens Christmas Party
Debbie Horton organised another great Christmas party for the children.
4th November 2006 - Fire Work night with CIRUFC's own spectacular display
The night certainly went with a bang (or two!). Thanks to all thoughs who truned up to watch, on quite a chilly night! Entries to the guy competition were fantastic and really did set the bombfire off a treat.
Many thanks go to Jay, Lee & Delboy for organising the event. Thanks also go to Dave, Danny and Kev who set the fireworks off. We hope everyone had a good time and we hope to see everyone again next year.
21st October 2006 - Performing live at Canvey Island Rugby Club on the TUSH
Gary 'the crooner' Desmond and TUSH gave an outstanding live performance at the club. They really got the crowd going with music to meet all tastes. Yet another fantastic social event at CIRUFC. Well done Gal, what a voice. Your entry to X-Factor has been posted !
23rd September 2006 - HAWAIIAN NIGHT a success
Another excellent night generating much needed funds. A big thank you to everyone who was there as well as to those who helped, specifically Sophie, Delboy, Greggors, Lucy and Adele, Mr Lee Brumwell and Scottie Furbach. Also Debs and Lou for the raffle and Tony and Dan for what made a great limbo competition which im sure WASNT fixed! Thanks again and i hope to see u all soon - Jamie Breading. 19th August 2006 - Sponsored Walk
I would like to thank the people that particapated last week in the sponsored walk, we managed to raise £500 for the club! Its not too late to make a donation for those that did'nt particapate remember ITS YOUR CLUB TOO!! Lets hope next year we have bigger numbers. Click here for pictures.
