Under 13's Match Report - 19th October 2008

The first problem of the day was a lack of our usual forwards, with Reece, Rob and Archie all out.
Alan needed to change things about. Eton Manor scored almost from the start puting Canvey on the back foot straight away. The new pack was proving too strong for Eton Manor and Canvey were wining 90% of the scrums.
Its a shame but most of the boys had put there butter fingers on today, i have not seen so many droped balls in all the games they have played. Putting that to one side, as always the boys never stoped trying with every one putting in effort.
Eton Manor scored twice more before George walker made a strong drive for the line and put the ball down for the points.
Coming out for the second half the Eton Manor coach decided that there front row was not strong enough and went uncontested in the scrum, at times Canvey were awsome moving the ball around at ease but they were also giving the ball away far to cheaply and this lead to Eton Manor scoring two more trys.
Towards the end of the game Josh made a great run and scored his first try for the club. Alan made George Swan man of the match for all the efort he put in on and of the ball.
