2nd XV - The Stacks

This name was formed many years ago when Canvey Island first started playing rugby with no club house for after game socializing, our club house was THE HAYSTACK pub which was home for all our parties' activities and general rugby meetings.
We then found the little bit of money needed to start building our own rugby club back in the 80's now at Tweeks creek.
At present the stacks stand at ESSEX BL MERIT TABLE DIVISION 4.
But with last seasons 3 rd team (GNUS) having a very good season with the younger players coming up to the stacks (from the 3 rd 's) and some of the old heads from the previous seasons we hope to push the stacks back up to ESSEX BL MERIT TABLE DIVISION 2 where we were last season.
